Skin card packaging is the process in which your product is attached to a printed backing card with a layer of plastic over top that holds your product securely in place. Skin Cards showcase a product making it instantly visible, while offering a streamlined profile.

Vista Pak offers high quality custom printed skin cards to package and display your products. We provide both 4 process and PMS (Pantone Matching System) colour printing for bold graphics, precise detailing and true to brand colour continuity. Skin packaging cards can be printed with up to 6 colours on the front and 6 colours on the back.

Skin Board is a specially manufactured porous paper which allows air to pass through it during the packaging process. It is printed in sheets of multiple skin packaging cards to match the size of the machine it will be packed in. Once the cards have been printed, a heat activated adhesive is applied and dried. The items to be packaged are then placed into a vacuum frame on the printed sheet of skin cards, and a heated sheet of plastic is lowered to the cards and a vacuuming process below the sheet removes all excess air while drawing the hot plastic around the items. The hot plastic activates the glue, forming a bond where contact is made. The sheet of cards is then cut apart into individual cards and punched with a hanger hole if required.
